Upazila Social Service Office Tarakanda - At a Glance
Upazila Social Service Office Tarakanda is one of the most important offices related to human resource development, poverty alleviation, welfare, development and empowerment of the backward and backward communities of Atra Upazila. 
Upazila Social Service Office Tarakanda is multi-dimensional in the welfare and development of backward, backward sections of the society, unemployed, landless, orphans, destitute, vagabonds, destitute, socially, intellectually and physically handicapped persons, poor, helpless patients, vulnerable children in both rural and urban areas across the upazila and Intensive activities are also being implemented. 
According to Article 15(d) of the Constitution of Bangladesh, Upazila Social Service Office Tarakanda is implementing all these activities in coordination with other government departments and organizations. Activities have been undertaken to achieve the targets outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Vision 2021 and the Seventh Five Year Plan.
