In the financial year 2021-2022 in Mymensingh's Tarakanda Upazila, financial aid checks were distributed among 20 patients suffering from cancer, kidney, liver cirrhosis, stroke, paralyzed, congenital heart disease and thalassemia. Mr. Mohammad Enamul Haque, Deputy Commissioner, Mymensingh was present as the Chief Guest at the distribution of financial assistance checks among the patients suffering from complex diseases at Tarakanda Upazila Parishad Auditorium. Mr. Md. Fazlul Haque, Chairman-Upazila Parishad Tarakanda was present as special guest.
Mr. Mizabe Rahmat, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tarakanda presided over the function. A total of 100,000 / - (one million) financial assistance checks were distributed among patients suffering from cancer, kidney, liver cirrhosis, paralyzed stroke, congenital heart disease and thalassemia. All the dignitaries present on the occasion lauded the government and the Department of Social Services for formulating and implementing the grand program.

A total of 05 checks of Rs. 40,000 / - were distributed among the voluntary social welfare organizations at the same event.
